Sea Wolf - Leaves In The River · 21 August 2008, 09:00
From the same producer who brought us The Shins, Built to Spill and Band of Horses brings us probably one of the best albums I’ve heard to date this year.
The sounds remind me of rolling hills and the coastline for some reason. What can I say, I’m a sucker for folky type indie music. Just seems lately a lot of artists and albums I’ve been listening to remind me of the North Western part of the United States.
This album and Fleet Foxes were picked up on the same day. I only picked these up to pick up the new Conor Oberst (Bright Eyes) album and I haven’t even really began on his new album since I can’t seem to stop listening to this and Fleet Foxes. Truly and probably the first time I’ve ever gotten two albums in the same purchase where I liked every single song on each, not having any negativity for any portion of the songs or album.
